Founder & Creator

Harvey Hook

Harvey Hook has a 30-year legacy of creating and contributing to life transforming community-based programs for the marginalized and impoverished, as well as business, industry, community and government leaders in Denver, CO, Columbus, OH and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

As Co-Founder of Convene Columbus, an organization that profiles leaders of uncommon accomplishment and purpose, and Principal of H2 Leadership, an executive coaching firm, Hook brings a depth of insight and wisdom to people in pursuit of their purpose. Drawing from his rich diversity of life experiences and best-in-practice mentors, Purpose Live has been brought to life.

Harvey is the author of “The Power of an Ordinary Life,” and holds a master’s degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary. More importantly, he is married to Rita Toth Hook, and together they have two married daughters and four grandchildren. Harvey and Rita live in Columbus, OH.

Amy Cooley

Administrative Director

Amy Cooley has been an engaged leader in non-profit and church administrative and support roles for 15 years in Kansas City, Kansas and Columbus, Ohio. Amy finds her greatest joy in collaborative teams, planning events and developing and executing strategic plans to fund an organization’s mission and vision.

As Administrative Director of Convene Columbus, an organization that profiles leaders of uncommon accomplishment and purpose, and H2 Leadership, an executive coaching firm, Amy brings a depth of organizational acumen and insight that has been instrumental to people in pursuit of their purpose.

Amy holds a degree in Psychology from Mid-America Nazarene University and resides in Columbus, OH with her husband of 25 years, Dale. Together they have two wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and two precious granddaughters.

Christopher Ledzema

Christopher Ledzema

Associate Director

Christopher Ledzema is the Spiritual Director for Purpose Live Institute. He has a professional services background in addition to the current consulting and counseling services he offers in central Ohio and beyond.

 

His expertise serves a range of people including teenage parents, business, church, and ministry leaders.

 

He is happily married to his love Alexis, and has two children, Joshua, and Nyla. He believes His greatest purpose in life is to bring glory to God in all that he does.

Dr. Mary Filice

Course Instructor

Dr. Mary Filice is the Director of the Master of Arts in Theology Program at Ohio Dominican University, where she acts as personal advisor to each student. In a professorial capacity she teaches the program’s introductory course, which provides a foundation meant to ensure all students are prepared for the entire academic process. She also coaches each masters candidate on their final project.

In 2017, Dr. Filice became a certified Enneagram consultant. In addition to her duties as a member of the faculty, she uses this philosophical and spiritual testing tool to help individuals recognize who our Creator calls them to be.  She is currently an active member of The International Enneagram Association and is developing thematic groups that bring together specialists from cross disciplines to discuss human development.

Mary received her doctoral degree in Philosophy from Duquesne University, and currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.
